I’m feeling discouraged. I don’t think I’m making a positive impact. Actually, I feel like my presence in the schools makes people feel like I’m in the way; a waste of time. I’m trying to make my classes informative, interesting, and worth learning, but no matter how hard I try, or how genki I am, the students hate them. They’re disillusioned and I’m afraid I’m becoming like them too. My soul is being drained of life. I just need my hichou.
